Rocky Knoll Health Care Center has an opening for an Environmental Services Worker I. This is a part time position, working 32-40 hours per week, hours 12:00p.m. – 8:30p.m. Starting rate of $14.10/hr. to $19.74/hr. based on qualifications. Part time positions are eligible for a full range of employee benefits including: health/dental/vision, retirement, employee life insurance, sick pay, paid holidays, and vacation.
PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
Maintains the facility environment in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition by performing housekeeping and laundry tasks.
Uses housekeeping equipment necessary for the cleaning and general maintenance of all floors (including floor stripper, burnisher, automatic scrubber for waxing and buffing of floors, and full-size and hand-held carpet shampooers). Maintains inventory of housekeeping and laundry supplies, receives deliveries and stocks shelves. Cleans equipment and work area. Participates in continuous quality improvement activities as assigned. May perform other varied duties/responsibilities as per facility needs.
QUALIFICATIONSHigh school graduate or equivalent experience preferred. Ability to understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions. Ability to operate specialized equipment necessary to perform the job (see physical standards addendum.) Ability to understand and comply with federal and state, and facility safety requirements. Valid Wisconsin driver's license. Possess the ability to communicate effectively.
